2. Cosmology

Nicholas Copernicus taught us an instructive lesson that we couldn't be the center of the universe. But discovery of the red shift of galaxy spectra and its interpretation by Doppler effect and space extension on the basis of general relativity also put us into the center, now of the exploding universe. Discovery of quasars with the anomalous red shift has detected a contradiction between the Big Bang theory and astrophysics because the physics laws don't allow explaining the energy quantity radiating by the quasars in terms of the Big Bang theory. Nevertheless, the relativistic gravity theory, or general relativity, is considered the theoretical basis of the universe structure science.

Henri Poincare taught us another instructive lesson, according to which our theoretical concepts in physics may be conditional consents accepted for the convenience. Besides, on Poincare's opinion the geometry of the real space or the universe geometry in principle can't be tested in the relativity theory and no geometry can be truer than the other one. Only geometry plus physics is subject to test experimentally. Euclid geometry is the most simple and obvious one and the scientists will always try to use Euclid geometry by refining the physical laws.

Nevertheless, the reason of the red shift of galaxy spectra is still a mystery. Perhaps it can be explained by the usual laws of the wave propagation in interstellar gas or in random and fractal media, i.e. red shift is a non-Doppler effect as well as it does not follow from the quantum effects as in tired light hypothesis. The modified spectral-temporal concepts allow introducing the idea of Fresnel filter into the theory of wave propagation, which spectral characteristic depends on the modified wavelet spectra or light quanta.
